Library Membership

Alberta Beach Municipal Library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library. We are also a member of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and of The Alberta Library (TAL). Your library card gives you access to millions of items in over 230 Alberta libraries.

Residents of Alberta Beach, Sunset Point, Val Quentin, and the County of Lac Ste. Anne may acquire a library card provided that proper identification is shown. Children 16 and under need parental consent to obtain a card. Your library membership entitles you to borrowing privileges at any library in Alberta (some restrictions may apply). Click here for more information about Alberta-wide borrowing.

If you lose your card, please contact the library immediately to avoid the unauthorized use of your library card. If you move or change your phone number, please notify us as soon as possible in order to keep your file up to date.

Membership Cost

Library cards are issued for one year and cost $15 per family. The cost is the same for new and renewing members.
